Certifications & Licenses
At TWC Nutrition we are the proud recipients of awards in consumer, customer and industry categories. We believe they are a testament to the hard work, passion and purpose of our team. And, while we continually strive to do better and be better, pushing boundaries and blazing trails, we gratefully acknowledge a few of our favourite moments.
We believe that the quality and safety of supplements for public health protection is paramount. At TWC Nutrition we strive to reach the highest levels of product purity with clean ingredients selectively sourced from only the best suppliers around the world.
SQF Code for Manufacturing
The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Code is a site-specific, process and product certification standard for control of food safety and food quality hazards. Products produced and manufactured under SQF Code certification are highly accepted in global markets.
Manufacturing under the SQF Code assures that TWC Nutrition’s food safety plans have been implemented in accordance with the CODEX HACCP method as well as applicable regulatory requirements and that our system has been verified and determined effective to manage food safety. Implementing SQF Code further verifies our commitment to produce safe, quality food and our compliance with Canadian Food & Drug legislation.
Health Canada NHP Site License and GMP Manufacturer
In Canada, dietary supplements are called Natural Health Products (NHPs). As such they require a product license to be legally sold and marketed in Canada. Licenses are issued by the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate of Health Canada following a scientific review of product safety, efficacy and quality. The product license authorizes the ingredients, quantities, health claims, usage, risk information and other details.
Additionally, site licenses are required to conduct GMP activities. TWC Nutrition works directly with Health Canada to ensure all legal requirements and standards are met. Our facility is a licensed GMP manufacturer, packager, and labeller.

COR is a not-for-profit, community organization that acts as a resource for consumers regarding everything kosher. It is also the kosher certification trademark used by the Kashruth Council of Canada, the largest kosher certification agency in Canada. The COR symbol is recognized around the world as the highest standard for product compliance with kosher standards.
At TWC Nutrition, we work in conjunction with COR to ensure that products comply with the highest kosher dietary standards. VegeCert Certification
VegeCert is a non-profit organization that certifies vegan and vegetarian food products globally. Consulting with industry leaders, VegeCert formulated a standard for product approval.
The VegeCert program has two certifications. Certified Vegetarian ensures products are free from meat, poultry, fish, seafood and insects. The Certified Vegan designation verifies that products do not contain any animal or animal by-product whatsoever, including dairy and egg. VegeCert inspections are performed by The Kashruth Council (COR), an independent third-party organization and one of the largest and most respected kosher certifications agencies.
At TWC Nutrition, our products, components and manufacturing facility are evaluated for compliance with the VegeCert standards through facility audits and documentation. Under the VegeCert certification, compliant products earn the use of the mark for either VegeCert Vegan or VegeCert Vegetarian.
